Mul-T-Lock (UK) Offers 'Chubb At Heart' M3 Cylinders In Medeco Range
ASSA ABLOY has confirmed that Chubb’s patented M3 high security cylinders will continue exclusively under Mul-T-Lock’s Medeco range.
This is the latest stage in the ‘Chubb at Heart’ plan to position products, ahead of the discontinuation of the licence to use Chubb on locking products, other than a limited range of specialist custodial locks, from August 2010.
Mul-T-Lock is also inviting dealers to take part in a special Medeco M3 Locksmith Panel to discuss the transition process and requests feedback from those attending to help shape the future of this specialist product range.
Says Dion McAllister, Managing Director of Mul-T-Lock: “Medeco High Security Locks is a market leader in locks and locking systems for security, safety and control, and M3 is already established into our product portfolio.”
“With the Chubb transition process, it made sense for Mul-T-Lock to continue to offer the range. We are now working hard to minimise any disruption or confusion for customers; Medeco product branding will be carefully phased in over the coming months together with packaging, POS and literature to highlight its sole availability from Mul-T-Lock.”

Mul-T-Lock highlights that existing Biaxial products will not be affected by this change.
