Better Outdoor Security With Heavy Duty Union Padlocks
Sheds, garages and outbuildings can all be vulnerable to thieves especially if they're out of view, so why not invest in a heavy duty padlock from the new UNION C-Series to give you extra security and added peace of mind.
The 1K11 Battleship padlock has a 6-lever mechanism and can resist attack from hacksaws and other tools. Made from solid steel, this tough padlock comes with three keys and is ideal for garage doors.
Alternatively, the 1K21 Cruiser 5-lever padlock has a hardened steel shackle, resistant to cutting. For advanced security, it also has an off-centre keyhole that prevents conventional keys being inserted.
The heavy duty padlocks were previously available from high security specialist Chubb, before the brand was withdrawn from locking products. The Battleship and Cruiser padlocks are now supplied by UNION in the new C-Series, alongside the famous Chubb range of mortice locks and rim locks.
The Chubb brand will no longer appear on home security products, after the US company which owns the brand licence decided not to renew it.
The padlocks are available from builders' merchants, locksmiths and hardware stores nationwide.
