Chubb Locks Still Available Under A Different Name

If you've heard the news that the Chubb lock brand is disappearing, there's no need to worry, as you'll still be able to buy Chubb security products, just under a different brand name.

From August 2010, you'll be able to buy Chubb additional security products under the Yale brand, while the famous Chubb mortice locks, rim locks and padlocks will be available from UNION. The products are exactly the same as their Chubb predecessors and are still 'Chubb at Heart'.

Over 50 Chubb additional security products will be available from Yale to help make your windows and doors more secure, including window locks and latches, door chains, patio door locks and hinge and security bolts.

Plus, you'll still be able to find the famous high security Chubb mortice locks in the new UNION C-Series, including the 3G114 British Standard five lever mortice deadlock.

The UNION C-Series also includes Chubb rim locks and seven heavy-duty Chubb padlocks, ideal for garden sheds and outbuildings.

To help you find the right Yale or UNION alternative, a special, easy-to-use conversion guide is available online, although many products have kept the same name and code.

The Chubb at Heart logo can also be found on product packaging, alongside details of which Chubb product has been replaced.

Chubb locking products are available under Yale or UNION via DIY retailers, builders' merchants, locksmiths and hardware stores nationwide.
